HOW IT IS MADE:
1. Sourcing Ethical Vegetable-Tanned Leather: The process starts with responsibly sourcing ethical vegetable-tanned leather hides. This type of leather is processed using natural tannins found in vegetable matter, making it more environmentally friendly compared to chrome tanning.
2. Hand-Cutting Leather Strips: Once the leather hides are sourced, they are hand-cut into strips of leather of appropriate width and length.
3. Punching Strips into Straps: The leather strips are then punched or cut to create holes for attaching hardware or stitching. These strips are transformed into straps.
4. Hand-Wrapping Ends with Waxed Cotton: After the straps are formed, each end is carefully hand-wrapped with lightly waxed cotton. This serves multiple purposes, including securing the clip strongly to the strap and adding textural and color dimensions to the strap.
HOW TO ATTACH:
1. Locate Eyelets on the WREN Sleeve: Each WREN sleeve has two small eyelets punched into each side of the middle pocket under the flap.
2. Attach Strap using Trigger-Snap Hooks: The uniquely molded trigger-snap hooks are designed to easily clip onto the eyelets on the WREN sleeve. Simply attach the hooks to the eyelets on either side of the middle pocket under the flap.
3. Easily transform into a Sling Bag or Clutch: Once the strap is securely attached to the WREN sleeve, the sleeve can be transformed into either a sling bag or a clutch, depending on how the strap is positioned and adjusted. This versatility allows for different carrying options depending on your preference or the occasion.
