To mark the launch of our beautiful new logo, we hosted our second Drink & Draw!
An evening of creative celebration, each invited guest was given an uncoated Wren paper sleeve to customise. Our doodlers descended on Empire Cafe in Muizenberg to put pen to paper, filling their Wren sleeves with their very own designs.
From copic markers, to pencil crayons and ink, the inspiration was endless. The diversity of sleeve designs that emerged from the night were truly spectacular!
Too many leaves too little time by Danielle Clough in ink and embroidery thread. A mixed media delight!
Irresistibly punny sleeve; The Outfitters by Jaco Haasbroek in permanent marker.
Beautifully whimsical Poppies in the wild by Ruschka du Toit in ink
Gone Fishing by Barbara Cole, magical koi brought to life by metallic markers
Dave of Empire Cafe treated everyone to a gorgeous, gourmet snack spread to fuel the creative process. Some even took the Drink & Draw inspiration a little further and decided to use wine as a medium for their artwork…
What a fun and successful evening! All the sleeves are a great testament to that little bit of creativity inside all of us – sometimes we just need the space to let it free!
