{Antique Linen & Leather Bags} made up

Antique Linen and Leather Bags in a row

The newly arrived antique grain sacks have been made up into Antique Linen & Leather Bags and I cannot pretend that I do not have a favourite. I tried something different and used the suede side of the nappa leather for one. I did not know if it would work but I had fallen in love with the almost fluorescent orange that was on the reverse side of the red leather and put together with the orange/red woven stripe and creamy oatmeal linen…it was too perfect a match to ignore. Now, made up, it is even more beautiful than I expected. See it in the middle? I also tried a metallic blue finish leather (look at the bag on the far right), a red-brown leather for the wide red stripe (second from the far right) and a new stripe: a red and blue combination.

*These bags will be listed in my etsy shop next week. All but one of these bags has already been sold. If you have your eye on one, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can reserve it for you.
