Your worst nightmare is waking up and all your money has been stolen – that happened to me!
Four weeks ago my Paypal account was the victim of fraud! Within seconds all my money was transferred out of my account and distributed all over the place. Money was withdrawn from my bank account…and over drawn. My Paypal account was immediately frozen but that was only after the damage had been done.
I spent the rest of that day and week on the phone to Paypal. I also wrote what probably now amounts to hundreds of emails to them. It was an extremely frustrating experience: I never got to speak to the same person twice, my questions were never directly answered by Paypal (if I even got a reply) and overall the service was very bad! Several buyers money was returned and I have had to contact them asking they repay me. Thank you to all these buyers for being so understanding with this matter. I really appreciate it.
The nightmare is finally over and my money has been returned. My Paypal account has been reopened with extra security against fraud. Paypal have also apologised and given me their surity that this will not happen again. So, for future buyers who choose to pay me via Paypal, it is safe. (Although I prefer to use Setcom as I have always had imaculate service from them. See my policy page for payment details and options). I hope this never happens to anybody else.

Oh no Wendren ….I am shocked what´s happend with your paypal account. That´s really a nightmare !!!!I´m so sorry and of course I can understand how extremely frustrating it is.
But it´s really good to hear the you received your money back and I am glad. -
Oh no how aweful! I would be so mad! I hate this things happening, adn I think I hate more the whole bureaucratic trip you have to follow afterwards to try to set things straight… something you shouldnt have to do as it is their fault to begin with!

That is HORRIBLE! That’s why I have 2 bank accounts. I use one to link to paypal….and I manually take the money and transfer to another. I always keep a small balance in both. I’m so very sorry that happened to you!

I just wanted to add that I have used Setcom to purchase from Wendren. It’s very easy to set up and use. Also, when I emialed them a question, they responded very quickly. It was no trouble at all.

That’s so terrible! It’s amazing how all these technological advances can quickly hinder our lives rather than help us. I’m sorry you had to go through that Wendren.

Thanks everybody for your sympathies. It was a really horrible experience and as I said, I hope nobody goes through it. I would like to reiterate that my fraud case has been cleared and that by buying a Wren Bag and paying using me with Paypal, you cannot be affected by my past experience. It is as if it never happened (but with more protection for me now
This means both of our money is safer). On a more positive note I would like to add that the companies that the fraudulent transactions were made under I contacted immediately to report this activity. They responded thanking me for notifying them and offering to repay the money transferred fraudulently under their name at their expensive if Paypal did not. It is nice to know that there ARE good people out there and the world is not all a bad and/or unsafe place. -
